<\/a>Este es uno de esos fines de semana ocupados que lamentablemente se me est\u00e1n haciendo comunes. Pero no hubiera pasado de ser un fin de semana ocupado, pero com\u00fan, de no ser por que las lluvias, y quiz\u00e1s alg\u00fan cami\u00f3n descuidado, se llevaron por delante mis l\u00edneas telef\u00f3nicas, y con ellas mi conexi\u00f3n de banda ancha.<\/p>\n

He de confesar que aunque no es suficientemente r\u00e1pida, al menos para lo que uno quiere, he estado tan acostumbrado a contar con mi conexi\u00f3n de banda ancha, que ni cuenta me daba de lo dependiente que me hab\u00eda vuelto. Si bien cargo conmigo uno o dos tel\u00e9fonos conectados a la Internet todo el tiempo, la banda ancha en casa, y su conexi\u00f3n WiFi correspondiente, se han vuelto algo tan omnipresente en mi vida, y en especial en mi trabajo, que enfrentar el fin de semana sin conexi\u00f3n era sencillamente aterrador.<\/p>\n

Mi casa, ubicada en las afueras, no goza de buena se\u00f1al de mi operador telef\u00f3nico principal, y tampoco en el secundario. Pero recientemente adquir\u00ed una l\u00ednea del tercer operador, s\u00f3lo para equipar mi tercer equipo conectado de uso constante: una tableta Galaxy Tab de Samsung con la que estoy muy contento y de la que pronto les contar\u00e9 cu\u00e1l ha sido mi experiencia de uso. En mi casa la conexi\u00f3n con ese operador es buena, y reporta servicio 3G con se\u00f1al casi full, as\u00ed que me lance a la aventura de prender la opci\u00f3n de tethering y convertir mi flamante tableta en un punto de acceso a la Internet. <\/p>\n

Al momento de escribir este post llevo poco m\u00e1s de 24 horas seguidas usando mi tableta para alimentar las conexiones de mi Mac de escritorio, mi port\u00e1til MacBook, mi vieja pero venerable port\u00e1til HP –que uso todos los d\u00edas para acceder un sitio dise\u00f1ado en Notes– y la Netbook de mi hija, todo esto con muy pocos problemas. Si bien la velocidad no alcanza la de mi conexi\u00f3n fija, he logrado realizar mi trabajo, con pocos problemas, actualizar ciertos programas, revisar correo y descargar adjuntos y hasta he podido actualizar mi blog, con este post que est\u00e1s leyendo.<\/p>\n

Definitivamente este es un punto a favor de Android y del Hardware de Samsung, que en este fin de semana me est\u00e1 salvando la vida, y me permite estar hablandodeti<\/em><\/strong>, a\u00fan con mi conexi\u00f3n de banda ancha caida.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
